I
n year 1979 keyboardist Guillermo Medin (Quistral, Final,
             Berklee College of Music 1983/1985 Composition Awards,
             Biorsi, Klhasch) migrated to the USA. Upon his arrival at
             The Tremont Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts, he contacted
             his friend and colleague composer Daniel Montes who was
             then completing his musical studies with Dr. David (formerly
             a New England Conservatory staff member).
             Symultaneously, Daniel Montes introduced Guillermo Medin
             to fellow composer Daniel Doura, who was also completing
             his musical studies but in The Boston Conservatory. During
             this period, Guillermo Medin lived with Daniel Doura for a
             couple of months at Doura’s Apt., in Beacon Hill, Boston.

In year 1980, composer Daniel Montes returned to Buenos
             Aires, Argentina, and Guillermo Medin moved to his place at
             53 Trowbridge Street Apt.#2, in Cambridge, Massachusetts .

             This housing logistics will further on be baptized by
             Guillermo Medin with the spanish acronysm ‘MAEB’ which
             stands for ‘Argentinean Musicians in Boston’, in reference
             to lodgings facilitation to both local and internat’l itinerant
             musicians, such as: Jennie Chartier (trumpet), Hugo Potenza
             (piano), Olivier Truan (piano), Ruy Folguera (film scoring),
             Niki Reisser (flute), Alfredo Gomez (guitar), among others.
